The hunt is on for a new generation of Celebrity Animals to star in film and television.

The first auditions were held in Surrey and the day's events will be featured in a special episode of new documentary series that premieres on Sky One in January 2011.

A whole host of performing pets turned up. The star turn was a spectacular equine act featuring Black Lad, a dancing horse from Devon.
